Fabryka Łożysk Tocznych – Kraśnik S.A. is the oldest and the largest manufacturer of rolling bearings in Poland. From the beginning of its operation, it has manufactured more than one billion bearings for commercial vehicles and passenger cars, agriculture, metallurgy and mining industries, for electric motors, forklifts, reducers and gearmotors, and the defense. The origins of the company date back to 1938 when — within the Central Industrial District — ammunition plant was established. The first bearings were produced in 1949 and  after six years the first batch was exported.

Bearings make our life rolling, both figuratively and literally. The smallest bearings weigh about 30 g, and the largest 4 700 kg. The main production groups include ball bearings, tapered roller bearings and cylindrical roller bearings. Special purpose bearings constitute a separate category. In total, the range of our products consists of more than 1500 types of bearings. Nearly 60% of our products are supplied for the following applications of automotive industry: wheel axles, gearboxes, transmissions in trucks and passenger cars. Production of agricultural machines is another industry that receives 12% of our production. The bearings from Kraśnik are also mounted on rail vehicles: railway cars, tramways and metro cars. They are used in metallurgical and mining industry, electric motors, forklift trucks etc.

Bearings from Kraśnik are products of superior quality comparable with the quality offered by “premium” sector manufacturers. This fact is confirmed by the Integrated Management System covering quality, environmental and OHS management (certificates ISO/TS 16949; ISO 9001, ISO 14001), certificate of a manufacturer recognised by PKP Cargo (COT4a-6213-103804/2015) and certificate of conformity issued by PKP Intercity (BPT-621-16/SZ/2016).
